Located in the tropical mountainous region of Indonesia, this project is one of the earliest large-scale pig farms in the country to adopt
systematic and scientific pig breeding models.
As a landmark benchmark for modern pig farming in Southeast Asia, the farm is fully equipped with Farmjoy's end-to-end welfare-first

Project Overview

This large-scale intensive pig farm is a pioneering project in Indonesia's pig breeding industry, breaking the traditional local free-range
and small-scale breeding model.
The project covers multiple standardized pig barns, including gestation barns, farrowing barns,and finishing barns.
Farmjoy provided full-cycle support from pre-construction barn design, product customization,on-site installation guidance to
after-sales training, helping the client build a scientific, efficient,and welfare-first commercial pig production system adapted to Indonesia's
high-temperature and high-humidity tropical climate.

Client Core Challenges in Indonesia's Tropical Climate

• Before cooperating with Farmjoy, the client faced multiple core pain points that restricted thedevelopment of large-scale breeding:

• Harsh Tropical Climate Challenges:
  Indonesia's year-round high temperature, high humidity,and rainy climate put forward extremely high requirements for barn
  ventilation, heat dissipation, moisture-proof, and biosecurity, and traditional local breeding facilities could not meet the needs.

• Lack of Systematic Scientific Breeding System:
  As one of the earliest large-scale pig farms in the country, the client had no mature local reference cases,and urgently needed
  a complete set ofproven breeding equipment and system solutions.

• Welfare & Production Efficiency Balance:
  The client needed to balance animal welfare and breeding efficiency, to improve piglet survival rate, sow reproductive performance,
  and feed conversion rate while reducing labor and operation costs.
  
  

On-Site Construction & Installation Support

The project was located in a remote mountainous area, requiring professional on-site installation guidance and technical support to ensure
the standardized landing of the system.

Welfare-First Pig Housing & Pen Systems

We provided customized welded galvanized steel housing systems, including gestation crates and high-welfare farrowing crates.
The farrowing crates adopt an animal-friendly design, which can effectively protect sows' teats and piglets' hooves, improve piglet survival
rate, and meet the needs of large-scale standardized breeding.
All products are hot-dip galvanized for anti-corrosion, adapting to the high-humidity and high-salt tropical coastal climate.

Hygienic & Durable Slatted Flooring System

We provided a matching slatted flooring solution for different barns, including high-quality plastic slats for nursery barns, cast iron slats
for farrowing barns, and SMC composite slats for gestation barns.
All flooring products adopt a self-cleaning design, with optimized slot spacing to ensure efficient manure discharge, maintain a dry and
hygienic barn environment, reduce the risk of hoof disease and bacterial infection, and protect pig health.

Automated Feed Line System

The farm is fully equipped with Farmjoy's automated feed line system, which realizes fully automatic feeding from feed storage to
quantitative delivery in each pen.
The system reduces manual labor by more than 80%, ensures precise and fresh feed supply,  improves feed conversion rate, and
avoids feed waste and cross-contamination, which is a core part of the farm's large-scale and efficient operation.

Farmjoy's professional engineering team provided full on-site installation guidance, construction supervision, and operator training for the
project.
From the early stage of barn design to the later stage of equipment commissioning and after-sales maintenance, we accompanied the client
